| Description | Recent decades have witnessed dramatic shifts in the role of human resources from that of administrative to that of strategic partner. Professionals in human resources are increasingly challenged to take a more strategic perspective regarding their role in the organization. Responding to this challenge demands that human resource professionals develop methods for measuring human resources and the value created by the function. Workshop participants will examine and practice using key HR metrics through the use of case studies. In addition, participants will reflect on the key values and goals of their current organization and begin to develop a plan to align the human resource function with these objectives.
